We establish and operate Global Business Centers (GBCs) in major trade hubs worldwide, providing specialized and professional services to support the globalization of korea small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups.

Shanghai: China’s Economic Powerhouse
- Shanghai’s economy continues to grow rapidly, consistently achieving new milestones in total output.
- In 1949, its total output was only 2.028 billion yuan, but thanks to China’s reform and opening-up policies, by 2023 the city’s per capita GDP reached USD 27,000, placing it among high-income regions by World Bank standards.
- Shanghai’s 2023 GDP stood at 4.7219 trillion yuan, the highest among Chinese cities and 7th among major global cities.

China’s Financial Hub
- Shanghai is the birthplace of modern China’s financial industry.
- In 1992, the government designated the “Shanghai International Financial Center Construction” as a national strategy.
- By 2020, Shanghai had essentially built a financial hub matching China’s economic strength and the yuan’s global role.
- In 2023, 47 new financial institutions were established, bringing the total to 1,771, while the annual total transaction volume of the city’s financial markets reached 337.36 trillion yuan.
- The STAR Market (科创板) in Shanghai ranks first in China for both initial fundraising and market capitalization.

China’s Trade Center
- The “Shanghai International Trade Center Construction” was also established as a national strategy in 1992.
- In 2023, the Port of Shanghai maintained its #1 position globally in total trade volume.
- The total import and export value of Shanghai’s customs area reached 7.73466 trillion yuan, up 0.5% year-on-year.
- The total retail sales of consumer goods hit 1.85 trillion yuan, an increase of 12.6%, ranking first among major Chinese cities in both scale and growth rate.
- Shanghai also saw a 38.3% increase in newly established foreign-invested enterprises (6,017 total) in 2023, with actual foreign investment reaching a record USD 24.087 billion, solidifying its position as China’s top city for multinational regional headquarters.

Logistics Hub
- The Port of Shanghai has ranked #1 globally in container throughput for 14 consecutive years.
- In 2023, the port handled 49.16 million TEUs, a 3.9% year-on-year increase.

R&D and Innovation Cluster
- As of end-2023, Shanghai hosts 10 dual-innovation demonstration bases, 14 national university science parks, 65 national-level technology business incubators, 62 national record innovation spaces, and has fostered over 2,800 technology enterprises.
